The Milford Track is the most famous of New Zealands ‘Nine Great Walks’. Also discribed as ” The Finest Walk in the World”. It is 53km (33 miles) long and takes 4 days(3nights) to complete as an independent hike and the guided walk takes 5 days(4nights). The track is easy going, only on the third day there is a bit of climb of 750m (2400ft).
