Trip to Riverlands, Mountain Valley Adventure Lodge, on April 18/19

Riverlands is a property along the Mohaka River in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, about 5km (3miles) upstream from the turnoff on State Highway 5 between Napier and Taupo, just after crossing the bridge over the river.

There is Motel style accomodation or you can stay in the camping ground, which also has powered sites for Motor Homes. A restaurant is also operated by the owners

You can participate in activities like rafting, horse trekking, pony rides, archery, clay bird shooting, paintball, mountain biking, walking tracks, fishing and fishing raft trips.

Some members of The Napier Family Tramping stayed the whole weekend using the A-framed chalets and others only came over for the day on Sunday. The only activity we participated in was walking along the tracks on the property and admiring the wonderful sceneryP1090539The Mohaka River as seen from the bridge
